DETAILED SHEET METAL WORK
In addition to our specialised metal spinning services, we also offer a comprehensive range of sheet metal fabrication services to meet all your manufacturing requirements. Our versatile capabilities include punching, machining, turning, forming, and folding, ensuring that we can handle a wide variety of projects with precision and efficiency.
SHEET METAL FABRICATION SERVICES
Bending and Forming
Our NC brake press technology enables efficient and precise bending of metal sheets into a variety of angles and forms as per the part design intent. Utilising a range of radius dies and stamps, our fabricators can create custom flanges, lips, panels, and enclosure shapes determined by customer prints. Maintaining tight tolerances is crucial for ensuring proper fit and assembly, thereby enhancing part quality. The advantages of our bending and forming services include precise and accurate bends, in a wide range of materials and thicknesses.
Punching
Punching is a critical process in sheet metal fabrication that uses specialised dies and tooling along with powerful hydraulic or servo-electric presses to create small, precisely positioned holes in sheet metal components. As an efficient alternative to drilling, our NC punch presses can rapidly stamp mounting holes for fasteners, wires, struts, and alignment features as dictated by component drawings. This process facilitates faster production whilst maintaining reliability, with acceptable hole location tolerances up to +/- .005”. Key benefits of our punching services include high-speed production, specialised dies, and a more efficient and economical process compared to traditional drilling.
Machining
Machining is a manufacturing process where a desired shape or part is created through the controlled removal of material, most often metal, from a larger piece of raw material by cutting. As a form of subtractive manufacturing, machining utilises machine tools to achieve precise dimensions and intricate geometries. In contrast to additive manufacturing (e.g., 3D printing), which builds parts by adding material layer by layer, machining removes material to achieve the final shape. Our machining services include advanced CNC machines, machining with a wide range of materials, and the creation of custom parts tailored to specific requirements.
